Job Title : Operating Room Assistant Location: Shiprock, NM 87420 Duration: 6 months to 1 year Shift Schedule: Mon Fri (40hours per week) Start Date: Apr 2025 Qualification : Education: High school diploma or equivalent Prefered Experience: Shall have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months relevant experience within the last thirty-six (36) months Certifications: BLS Mandatory Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Operating Room Assistant to support the surgical team and ensure the smooth operation of the operating room (OR). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, preparing the OR for surgeries, and assisting in patient care and transportation. Responsibilities: Transport patients to and from the operating room. Assist with positioning and prepping the patient for surgery (e.g., draping, securing). Clean and disinfect operating rooms and surgical equipment after procedures. Restock supplies and ensure the operating room is ready for the next procedure. Handle non-sterile equipment and manage waste disposal. Assist with setting up non-sterile areas or equipment as needed.
