Job Description:

Our service writers are an integral and vital part of the Service Department and customer service experience. This position is responsible for the receipt and flow of all incoming work and communication with customers and all other internal departments. We have an immediate opening at our Farmington, NM location.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain all specific vehicle / customer information required for proper repairs and invoicing
• Write up customers' vehicle issues and concerns or maintenance requirements accurately and clearly
• Establish customers' method of payment, purchase order requirements, and estimate requirements at the time of write up
• Develop customer relationships through consistent communication regarding vehicle progress, status changes, and explanation of completed work and charges
• Maintain understanding and communication of manufacturer warranty guidelines, approval processes, and policies
• Ensure vehicles are parked in assigned areas, locked, tagged and keys are properly stored
