Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Experience in a float pool/Critical Care Unit - Management of Ventilator, titrating drips Job Description: - Work in a 198-bed, level III trauma center with state-of-the-art operating suites. - Provide healthcare services in medical, surgical, and rehabilitation sectors. - Support childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric, and inpatient behavioral health units. - Participate in day surgery center operations and extensive imaging and lab testing. - Float between Emergency Department (ED), ICU, PCU, and Cardiology Units. - Manage equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, titrating drips, wound vac, continuous cardioresp monitoring, and more. - Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) system - Cerner. - Collaborate with a dedicated supervisor and healthcare team. - Cater to a diverse adult patient population with various diagnoses, including trauma and med/surg cases.
