• Employment Type: TravelProvide comprehensive medical-surgical and critical nursing care to patients aged 14 and older in the Special Care Unit (SCU).
  Apply the nursing process to deliver individualized, goal-oriented care to adolescent and adult critical care patients.
  Use nursing theory and practices to plan and deliver care addressing physical, spiritual, and cultural needs.
  Recognize complications of disease processes and apply therapeutic interventions as needed.
  Understand medication dosages, effects, and complications.
  Analyze medical procedures to inform nursing interventions.
  Collaborate effectively within the healthcare team and with patients and families.
  Participate in inter-facility transports.
  Document care using the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, maintaining proficiency in its use.
  Follow facility policies, TJC, OSHA, IHS, and other federal standards.
  Provide clinical guidance to other staff and ensure unit compliance with quality checks.
