Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift (19:00-07:00) Guaranteed Hours: 36-48 hours per week depending on the contract (3-12 hour shifts or 4-12 hour shifts) Experience: 1-2 years (preferably in Intermediate Care or Cardiology) License: State RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Cardiology or IMC experience; Associate Nursing degree or higher Job Description: - Work in a facility with a 24-bed unit providing Intermediate Care (IMC) and Cardiology services - Manage patient ratios varying from 1RN to 3 patients with active titrating drips, to 1RN to 5-6 patients in Med/Surg - Utilize standard Cardiology monitoring equipment including Telemetry, T-1s, IV pumps, and crash carts - Use the Cerner Electronic Health Record system to document patient care - Care for adult to geriatric patients with common diagnoses such as STEMI, NonSTEMI, Stroke, Post Cath, and ETOH - Be prepared to float to units of need including PCU, Medical, Surgical, and Nephrology - Work in a renowned facility known for its accreditation in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services - No on-call requirements - Experience a location offering numerous outdoor recreational activities and cultural attractions
